Over the past eight funding cycles, Bonar Group helped
secure a total of over
$115 million in Federal funding for
35
community transportation projects. SAFETEA-LU (The Safe,
Accountable, Flexible, Efficient Transportation Equity Act: A Legacy
for Users) provides 80% federal funds with a 20% local share for
transportation improvements. Federal funds are available to
rehabilitate, reconstruct, and resurface major streets. A street must
be classified as a "Major Collector" street in order to be eligible
for funding. All streets within the State of Indiana have a designated
